It looks like they got that list of tips from the EFF, who created Privacy Badger. So it’s not surprising they only recommended theirs. I agree though that they should include uBO in the list.

His portrayal of Boomerang and his character in Spartacus were great though. He’s just not built for main lead roles, which I guess applies to Mackie too.

EDIT: Just watched it. It’s meh. It does have a similar setting with Annihilation, but that’s about it. Not even the vibe is similar as OP mentioned. The film didn’t know what genre it was supposed to be, and there were some pretty big plotholes towards the end. It’s an ok watch maybe if you don’t have anything else to do, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch it if I were you.
Same thing he did with twitter employees. Micromanaging is one of the worst traits a manager can have.

Being able to pause and buy whatever products you see on screen is so insanely late stage capitalism.
It does increase the risk of opportunistic crime though. If someone just unlocked all the gates and doors of an entire apartment building for shits and giggles, and you're in an area where there are people who go around apartment complexes randomly trying doors, there's certainly an increased risk.
