I thought it wasn't adversarial enough to actually learn anything about any of them. If they went at each other more, we'd see how they'd perform against PP.

My personal highlight was Carney mentioning a portable health record. No details on the implementation, but it's nice to hear a politician talk about that.

And you think that allocation was unrelated to Trump?

Rollback all concessions we made.

You can check the source to see. Yes, NDP have lost a lot and BQ have lost a little, but the CPC vote is also going down now.

haha are you saying "maybe slightly more right leaning" is an offensive stereotype?

I came here to say the same thing! They love the top bit.

This is even more wishy-washy than Trudeau's electoral reform promises, so we can safely assume this will also go nowhere.

I'm also sick of hearing about UBI that is income-adjusted, because then it's just welfare, which is a different concept altogether.

On one hand it's pathetic that it took him this long to realize (or he's lying to everyone), but it's still better than my premier (Danielle Smith) who is still licking Trump's boots despite the existential threat to Canada and especially Alberta. It would be a massive upgrade to see her admitting something like this :/

I don't consider $1.3B in spending on border security for a 30 day pause as a victory here. After 30 days, what's the next thing that Trump is going to manipulate our country into doing? This is a test of our sovereignty and we are losing.

Trump will keep moving the goalpost and try to shape our domestic policy. Keep fighting, do not negotiate with terrorists

My issue with the carbon tax has always been that consumers are not able to afford to make choices that reduce their consumption. For example, renters are unable to stop using gas heating. Most people cannot afford electric cars, or if they can, the infrastructure to actually charge it (house / garage).

Also, although it's obvious how much carbon tax I'm paying on my own gas bills, it's not clear to me how much food prices have gone up as a result of carbon tax on the transportation of that food.
