You need to change the format of the links for them to work for people on other instances: the link needs to be only /c/*communityname*@lemmynsfw.com, for example:

[email protected]

They would if formatted a little differently. Testing format /c/*communityname*@lemmynsfw.com:

[email protected]

You need to change the format of the links for them to work for people on other instances: the link needs to be only /c/*communityname*@lemmynsfw.com, I think. Testing that theory:

[email protected]

And it looks like this one works for me as someone on another instance whereas your links take me away from my instance

For some reason the autofill function in Lemmy does not do links this way automatically

Yeah they do have a more general community on the instance there but it’s called Gay and is completely empty so I didn’t link that one. But in any case I wasn’t trying to correct you on its non-existence, simply trying add more places to check out for anyone looking for such communities so that we can help them grow!

As for the name, I personally like it but I know that everyone isn’t quite as sex forward as I am. And there’s certainly more to gayness (and queer men) than cock, so I think it’s a valid criticism

I saw there’s also an instance [email protected] that seems to be trying to make some gay community though it looks very empty so far too
