Looks like that listing is gone now. Here's a few others.

Yeah, Gane and Pereira will be a decent scrap for sure. I'm leaning toward Pereira, just because Gane has been a bit inconsistent in terms of actually showing up in a few of his fights (as in, he does physically show up but just looks less than stellar).

I'm really keen to see Ilia at WW - I know it's early days of his lightweight run, but the way he starched Charlie Olives like that makes me wonder if anyone at 155 can actually stand and trade with him.

Could also say "no hair, don't care" 👴

2040: Disgusted by how his software was once used to play pirated PS1 games, Duckstation now only plays Public Domain roms despite being the most hardware-accurate emulator in existence.

That would be a Gigachad move. He could launch a Kickstarter for a TempleOS port

"No support is provided for the Android app,; it is free, and your expectations should be in line with that. Please do not email me about issues about it, or ask for help, you will be ignored." states Duckstation Developer.

There seems to be a pattern here where the community has a (possible?) minority of extremely negative people who make life difficult for developers who are giving away their software for free.

Reverse engineering an entire piece of hardware, and re-implementing that as code, must be such an involved task. The PS1's hardware is absolutely bananas to me - I tried to learn to use PsyQ (the Psygnosis SDK) years ago and the furthest I got was flashing some multi-colored text on the screen because you had to understand the hardware at a fairly low level (buffers, z-tables, and a bunch of other shit) just to get sprites working iirc.

I just don't get the sense of entitlement from a userbase who aren't paying anything for the emulators, the games (in most cases), and aren't even contributing to the code themselves because they don't want to put the work in, but will happily cause stress to the devs without thinking twice about it?

Punishment fits the crime. Fits it like a lovely, well-made sock.

Good. As time goes on, a Donald Trump endorsement will hopefully be the death knell of any goofball's political aspirations.

It was lovely to see Jake get fucked up by Joshua last year. Hopefully Ngannou will do the same to him this Christmas 🎄🎁

In my opinion, the event is going to be a letdown. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent card and I'll watch it - and some of the fights might be great - but was anyone else expecting a balls to the wall event where money was no object?

In fact, they said the event was (financially) going to be a loss (meaning, they were willing to pay whatever it took to make it great.. I think?). Dana himself said it would be "the Sphere on steroids"!

My main issues with it are:

  • No Jones or McGregor Both are well past their prime, but they're still undeniably the biggest superstars in the sport. Jones vs Pereira, McGregor vs Chandler, Jones vs Gane, McGregor vs Nate Diaz. So many possibilities.

  • Topuria vs Gaethje Does anyone else not expect this to go longer than 2 rounds? I'd rather see this headline another numbered PLE. It's not a very interesting fight imo, but who knows, maybe Justin will surprise us.

  • O'Malley vs Zahabi Again, not a bad fight, but why couldn't they convince Yan to come over for this and avenge his loss to Suga?

  • Ngannou is right there Maybe he's difficult to deal with, but no way is Ngannou more of a problem/liability than Bones. The heavyweight division is on its ass right now, it needs Francis. Now he has signed with MVP, which was probably the smarter thing to do to be fair.

  • No Schevchenko, no Nunes Why not pair them up for a trilogy fight? It's arguably as interesting as Harrison/Amanda, and Schev will want to get one back.

  • Diego Lopes again I have nothing against Diego, but in the last few years he's had huge opportunities at UFC 300, UFC 306 (Sphere), and two unnecessary title opportunities vs Volkanovski. Why? Maybe he's bringing in more PPVs or something, I don't know.

Anyone else feel the same? There's a legit chance the only American who will win at the White House will be the winner of the Nickal/Daukus fight, only because they're both American 😂

I think there's a good chance that Alex becomes the HW champ. Alex vs Jon, or Alex vs Ciryl are both great fights, but all of these guys get beat by Ngannou imo.

The other possible three-division champ would be Ilia, but I think Islam will probably handle him without too much difficulty.

Which game have you been the most patient for (as in, delaying purchase)?

For me, it would have to be GTA V. I stopped playing games for years, then built a new rig in 2018. Since then I've played through GTA IV (well, I beat the story, and it was amazing), but I never played GTA V.

My plan is to purchase it and start playing it the day GTA VI is released, as I have enough other games to get through in the meantime.

Good performance from Strickland at the weekend there, but I still think Imavov is ahead of him. Khamzat's ground game is probably levels above either of these guys, though.

I really want Khamzat to fight a guy with great grappling defense if we're only going to see him defend the strap once a year.
