i get notifications when someone replies to me. the question was whether i get notified if tagged (and how to tag someone). i merely pointed out that you cannot test whether i get notified by tagging when you do it in a reply to me, because that already does notify me.
this is 8 day late reply, because i didn't enable email notifications but that's turned on now.
