I was using the mobile app and i noticed in one of the types was "SSH Keys". I store them as logins so naturally i was excited, and i wanted to create one; but there was no way.

I checked the browser version, and wouldn't you know it? There's also an SSH keys type. Same thing, can't create.

I checked the website, and...

It's clearly right there! am i missing something?

Randomly, some websites seem to have a lot of fun breaking password managers. One inconvenience is sites now often asking for user name and password separately.

Another inconvenience is sites that use six-digit emailed codes instead of passwords. Which is just massively inconvenient because not only do I need to have an email program at the computer I am at, I also need to switch back and forth and copy-paste stuff.

Is there any password manager that works with those? Is there a way to get these codes working with Bitwarden even?

I wouldn’t put anything past a trifecta republican party with a conservative supreme court.

They will be beefing up the NSA to find the targets on their “enemy list”.

I had signed up for a fediverse service (i think it was pixelfed) but i forgot the name of the server. I was hoping i could look at newest items instead of launching every item i do not immediately recognize.

You can download it from F-Droid or use the F-Droid release flavour when downloading from github, but IMO they should be removed from all releases

Hi Bitwarden community,

We understand that many of you want more control over the visibility of All Items. We’re working on adjustments to make this possible.

With this update, you’ll be able to control the visibility of the 'All Items' view. Here's a work-in-progress screenshot of this update. We are still refining the details but we hope to have something out in the very near future.

Clicking on All items

All items hidden

Your feedback has been really helpful to our team, so please continue sharing your thoughts in the comments!

Thank you!

Hi everyone,

First off, thank you for sharing your honest feedback on the recent changes to the autofill experience in the Bitwarden browser extension.

We’ve been closely monitoring your comments and are actively working to address the concerns you’ve raised. While I don’t have a confirmed timeline for the updated changes just yet, I wanted to give you a preview of a setting we will be adding to the extension very soon.

Settings > Autofill > Click items to autofill

Settings > Autofill > Click items to autofill

For those who prefer the classic autofill experience, where clicking anywhere on a vault item fills it directly, this setting will restore that functionality and remove the fill button.

For those of you wanting to preview this change you may do so from our PR. https://github.com/bitwarden/clients/pull/12557

Thank you for your patience and for being part of the Bitwarden community. We'll update you as soon as this is available.

Their docs say it requires BitWarden Premium (security seems like a weird thing to paywall but hey I'm grateful there's a free option at all!) but I've seen a few older posts saying you can still set up a yubikey on the free tier using some kind of TOTP mode. Has anyone tried this, or knows how it works?

I understand that if you have Bitwarden (or any password manager or browser) configured to autofill your password when it encounters a "password" field on a web form, an easy exploit is for the web form to have hidden form fields (e.g., address, phone, email, ssn) and your autofill app will fill in your info into those fields, even though you only wanted it to autofill the login.

But when you have autofill turned off and you click in a form's "login" field and select a login from Bitwrden's contextual menu, Bitwarden automatically also fills in the "Password" field. Does this mean that the exploit exists even if autofill is turned off, as long as you're using any form of an "auto-fill" function?

I set up BitWarden for my mum ages back and thought nothing of it. She's been using it fine and hasn't had a problem. Only, now that I've gone to set it up on a new device for her, I'm realising I don't remember her master password. Neither does she. She's been using the biometric login the whole time. Anyone know any way around this?
