I checked the blocked instances of lemmy.world and found https://welppp.com/

Looking at the trust and safety about the instance, and reading your replies, it sounds like it will be the perfect fit for you.

Cursed Expedition Redux- How's It Going?

Not well. The Worlds II update Amara to have introduced a bug that prevents you from activating the portal for the third boundary. I got stuck here on my ps5, tried everything I could think of to get past and when nothing was working I decided to try on my Steam save. Same thing, got stuck at the same spot.

LAVAL, QC (Jan. 30, 2025) – With a goal, two assists and a shootout marker in her first game back after missing three games due to injury, Laura Stacey led the Montréal Victoire to a 4-3 shootout win over the Toronto Sceptres at home at Place Bell on Thursday night—the team’s fourth straight win. The Sceptres’ dominant power play opened the scoring mid-way through the first period, as Jesse Compher tapped in a rebound off the back boards to give Toronto the lead. Mariah Keopple equalized the score six minutes later – with a primary assist from Stacey for her first point of the night – bringing energy to the Montréal crowd heading into the first intermission. Stacey earned her second primary assist of the night seven minutes into the second period, feeding a pass to Maureen Murphy to give the Victoire their first lead of the game. The Sceptres’ power play struck for the second time in the game, with a goal from Hannah Miller to even the score once again heading into the third frame. Mid-way through the third period, Stacey found the back of the net for her third point of the night, giving Montréal their second lead of the game. Daryl Watts then knotted the score at three for Toronto with just three minutes left in the third to force extra time.

After a scoreless overtime period, Stacey and Victoire captain Marie-Philip Poulin potted Montréal’s two shootout goals to secure the win for the Victoire–– Toronto rookie Julia Gosling was the only goal scorer for the Sceptres in the shootout. Elaine Chuli earned the first shootout win of her PWHL career, turning aside 37 of 40 shots in net for the Victoire through regulation and overtime, followed by another four saves on five shootout attempts. Kristen Campbell stopped 25 of 28 shots through 65 minutes of play, followed by three of five saves in the shootout for the Sceptres. Montréal now has a three-point stronghold on first place following the win, while Toronto jumps into fifth place after earning a single point in the shootout loss.

LAVAL, QC (January 29, 2025) – Marie-Philip Poulin scored the season’s first hat trick and rookie Jennifer Gardiner had a career-high goal and two assists to secure a 4-1 win for the Montréal Victoire over the Ottawa Charge at Place Bell. Montréal has triumphed in all four matchups with Ottawa this season and, with their third straight victory, have regained the league lead over Minnesota with 26 points in the standings. Midway through the first period, Tereza Vanišová scored the first and only goal for Ottawa, giving them a brief 1-0 lead going into the second period. Montréal scored three goals in the span of 8:02 in the middle frame, beginning with a Poulin one-timer at 2:10, followed by a Gardiner breakaway snipe at 7:31 which held as the game-winner. The Victoire captain added her second goal at 10:12 of the middle frame on the power play and completed the hat trick into the empty net at 16:16 of the third. Ann-Renée Desbiens stopped 31 shots for her league-leading seventh win of the season. Charge rookie Gwyneth Philips got the start and allowed three goals on 12 shots. She was relieved by Emerance Maschmeyer who turned aside all 20 shots she faced.

I am only a scant few years younger than you, and other than playing soccer in my youth, and watching my daughter’s soccer games, I am decidedly NOT a sports person.

I watch every PWHL game I can. I too am a Frost fan (the purple jerseys did it for me). I find myself yelling at the TV when we (we? I am not playing, but I feel myself part of the action) miss a shot, or fail to block a goal. I text my wife when there is a great play.

To me, these women are real people unlike the caricatures of people we see in the NFL, NBA, and MLB. It almost feels like BASEketball.

Glad to meet a fellow Frost fan.

They also shun any sort of therapy, or psychiatric help. They just pray away the problems. This led to my best friend’s suicide because his mother would only have him speak with their priest or whatever to help with his depression and alcoholism.

Hello!

No Man’s Sky is a game that we all genuinely truly love. Last year we released Worlds Part I and I remember thinking at the time that this is just the beginning. We can’t wait to show people what we’ve been working on! There’s new solar systems, new planets with more variety, new terrain types, even new Gas Giants, and of course new adventures. Our next update is called Worlds Part II. Full patch notes are available here.

Worlds Part II allows us to push the boundaries of our engine with new technology.

Across the universe we’re adding billions of new solar systems and trillions of new planets, and introducing new biomes and terrains without changing what people already love about the game. It’s now so far beyond what we ever thought was possible when we started out.

SAINT PAUL, MN (January 28, 2025) – Claire Thompson celebrated her 27th birthday by leading the Minnesota Frost to a 4-3 shootout win over the Toronto Sceptres on Tuesday night at Xcel Energy Center. The Minnesota defender scored twice and added an assist in regulation before netting the shootout winner to lift the Frost into first place in the standings with 25 points, two points ahead of Montréal, heading into the International Break. Five of the game’s six goals were scored on the power play, including Michela Cava’s opening tally for Minnesota early in the first period. The teams alternated scoring throughout the contest with Toronto goals from Sarah Nurse, Jesse Compher and Renata Fast to tie the game in the first period and twice in the third. All three Sceptres goal scorers recorded multi-point performances, led by Fast with a career-high three points. Taylor Heise had two assists for the Frost— her second-straight multi-point game. Maddie Rooney had 24 saves and is now tied for most wins in the league at six. Rookie Raygan Kirk stopped 26 shots in defeat.

I watched the first episode yesterday. I thought it was really good.

Putting further thoughts into spoilers and I would appreciate any discussion in this thread be only about the first episode.

SpoilerI thought the show was going to be from the indigenous perspective, similar to Prey.

I am very curious about what happens to the girl that was stowing away in the Rowell’s wagon.

I am sad it is only 6 episodes, I typically avoid anything that short.

This was one of my favorite games as a teen. We played it for years in high school alongside Heroes Unlimited.

With the Kickstarter rerelease I have decided I want to run a new campaign. I always wanted to use the Terror Bears from the books in a campaign, but never worked them into what I was doing.

I recently found my original book (12th printing, from 1991), plus an original printing, but less used copy.

What are some memorable animals that have been played in your games over the years?

It would be helpful if we could view a list of communities from instance detail tab, not a local view of threads like when you look at an instance from a guest account, but a list like when you search.

SAINT PAUL, MN (January 26, 2025) – Taylor Heise led a high-scoring matchup with two goals, including the game-winner, boosting the Minnesota Frost to a 5-2 win over the Boston Fleet at Xcel Energy Center. The Frost snapped a three-game losing streak while ending the Fleet’s two-game winning streak and five-game point streak. Minnesota’s top line was on fire this afternoon combining for seven points with Michela Cava and Kendall Coyne Schofield setting up both Heise goals, and the captain adding a tally of her own to take over the PWHL scoring lead. Rookies Brooke McQuigge and Katy Knoll provided the other Minnesota goals. Boston twice cut the deficit to one, when captain Hilary Knight scored a second period goal to make it 2-1, and Susanna Tapani scored in the third period to make it 3-2. Nicole Hensley recorded 26 saves on 28 shots in her third win in five starts. Emma Söderberg stopped 22 of 27 in her third start of the season. Minnesota is now tied with Montréal atop the PWHL standings with 23 points.

Changed the format I am using a little, only using the single image that I normally put into the body as the header instead. Also added a direct link to the image. Let me know if anyone has thoughts on this over the old format, otherwise I will keep with this.
