Billionaire Mark Cuban said this week that he felt Bluesky had become "more rude and hateful". The predominantly liberal user base makes it difficult to ask questions or discuss issues with other users, he said.

In his text, Mark Carrigan asks a few interesting questions about the further development of Bluesky and whether the move of the academic community to Bluesky was a good decision.

The question is how Bluesky will react if investors push for more involvement. What happens when a certain level of user growth becomes an absolute requirement for new funding? The existing problems of other social networks are not so much due to individuals with bad intentions, but rather to the inherent logic of building a mass commercial platform.
