Hello I have a question on how to connect my devices. I have:

  • denon x 4800H AVR
  • Sony A 80k TV
  • PlayStation5

Should I connect the PlayStation to the receiver and connect the receiver to the TV's arc input?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but haven't done this in a few years, and just want to confirm before I tackle this.

So I bought an xbox one S to be my 4k bluray player. Youtube with HDR looks great on it. Regular blurays look great. My TV directly playing youtube HDR with its android OS look great. It's just the 4k blurays that look like the black level is off. Could it be the bluray ap itself? The problem is "solved" by decreasing my "black level" on my x900h tv from 50 down to 35. But could this be the right solution or just a band-aid? Thanks.

Is there any option for wireless with these? My room is already setup and I don’t feel running wire along the flooring would be appealing or worth it, I think it would look really tacky tbh. My closet is the media center which is about 10-12’ from the main viewing seats I want to put these in. I think the best option if starting from the beginning would be to run under carpeting somehow, but I don’t have this option. I would like to add some seat shakers to the main listening/viewing seats I have. What are my options (if any)?

Can I just run a wireless 🛜 amp and connect/power them this way? If so, could you recommend an amp that would work with the Onkyo 7100 receiver? I’ve read some receivers have a shaker mode to help setup, does the 7100 have this by chance?

Looking for a ceiling mount for a television that will fold up so the screen faces the ceiling when folded. All I could find is ones that fold so the back is against the ceiling when not in use.

I have a home bar with a 70” but occasionally we would like a second game on or some thing. Will probably be for a TV around 30 inches.

I’m also relatively handy so open to suggestions. I’ve got some ideas but curious what others think.

I have a denon AVR-S760H receiver. I want to use the second sub output to control an amp I am using to power bass shakers. I cannot figure out how to add the second sub in the setup assistant. I want to have the ability to control the volume of the output going to the amp/bass shakers separately from the volume going to the actual sub. Hopefully you guys can help!

I would love any advice about this. I bought a Yamaha RX-A750 almost 8 years ago. I'm upgrading my TV to an 85 inch Samsung QN85C and have 5 excellent Klipsch speakers plus sub. I know the tech has advanced a lot in the past 8 years, but going over the Yamaha specs, it kind of seems like it still meets my needs. The new TV is still 4k. Would love your opinions.

Hello,

So I am about to wire my Wharfedale Dx2 speakers and the sub that comes with it. To my denon X2700h

Its my first denon and I'm wondering what to do for these settings and whether anyone might have other settings in mind to change. Thanks in advance.

  1. the denon speaker has 2 sub outs, and the sun has a R/L channel where the L also says LFE. I'm assuming that I should be connecting the preamp out to L/LFE? Or would i need a Y cable and connect the preamp out to the L/R RCA connectors of the sub?

2)Considering all speakers are small speakers should I be setting them as small (if you set all speakers to small, then the sub lfe doesn't work and needs to be set to lfe+main from my understanding)

  1. the speakers are 4ohm,should I change the impedance settings to 4 or 6 ohm? Or keep it at 8?

Thank you

Im currently in process of making dedicated Home Cinema room, it will be in the basement with a concrete dry walling as well, the size is 6.2M X 6.0M, im planning a 7.2.4 speakers setup and so far these are the items I got, some made me raise some questions on why I did that but until now not sure, so need some suggestion if you notice big weaknesses here:

  1. Projector: Sony XW7000es
  2. Custom Grey 1.2 gain fixed projector screen 16:9 (160inch)
  3. Front sides speakers: 2X KEF Ci5160RLM-THX (meta)
  4. Centre and surrounds: 5X KEF Ci3160RLM-THX (meta)
  5. Subwoofers: 2X KEF Kube 12b (planning 2 addotional KEF Ci3160RLB in wall or SVS 3000 in wall subs or SVS SB16 Ultra)
  6. Amplifier: Marantz Cinema 40 + additional 250W power amp for the front side speakers

Basically that completes my Audio and Video setup, I want to make sure its a balanced system overall before I go to next steps, non of these are delivered and can be changed if required apart of the projector, Im taking this project slowly so I make sure I get great results at the end for my Home Cinema.

Will appreciate your feedbacks of the things so far I bought.
