LMG was criticized for 'not making a video' to address Honey by Gamers Nexus. They instead posted about it on the forum.

Gamers Nexus in their response to criticism from LMG instead of 'just making a video' posted their response on their own forum.

It's full of exaggerations and absurd formality. He takes 500 words to say Linus texted an old phone number, brings up a 7 year old citation failure to prove "plagiarism," releases a text message exchange that seemed perfectly banal between two equals with disagreements, and says Linus' "front of friendliness" is making him uncomfortable. Please. You're an adult. And what is with using his full name "Linus Sebastian" every mention like we're making a record for court? After Linus openly states he has no plans to sue and is not a litigious person, Steve claims the exact opposite and uses that as justification for now retreating behind his lawyers.

I wanted to emphasize some context that feels left out. This is from my comment in another thread.

Do you remember when Linus said adblock is piracy? Late Jan of 22? Remember how well everyone took that, and said that creators' earnings should be protected? That he was absolutely right, and thanks for bringing this to their attention? Me either. He got tore apart. People were happy to continue robbing creators of their adsense revenue.

One month later, March of 22, is when they dropped Honey. He was already in an environment where people were shitting on him for daring to say people might want to consider the consequences of their choices. Why on earth would he think anyone cared about creators, when the whole world was telling him that they didn't?

Edit: TLDR; Linus asked the world to care about creators' well-being a month before dropping Honey, the world said "shut the fuck up," and then he did.

Basic gist of it is, Twitter / X has gone downhill extremely quickly, and the “discussion” aspects of the site have been ruined by needing an account to participate and paid accounts having their comments artificially pushed to the top of the discussion. As well as the actions of the Twitter ceo are not ok.

Super fun to watch the process of how he created this device. Has a nice variety of tools and knowledge he pulls from to make this thing real

The Jimmy Fallon Linus interview is up to 2,252,849 views. It really shows, uh... that a lot of people watched it.

At this point, clearly seems to be a whole lot of personal issues with limited (if any) professional/ethical problems at this point.

Wish both channels best of luck resolving the issue but let’s go back to uncovering Dan’s many hidden areas of expertise (after yachts and planes, i don’t even know what to expect next).

I have been a user of the LTT backpack for over half a year now, and it’s been great. The bag itself, while on the pricey side, has been worth it for my daily needs, and I was sent the new carabiner zipper pulls to install free of charge as promised.

While opening one of the zippers to replace the pull, however, the loop part snapped completely off, since I guess they aren’t made to last more than one closing and opening anyway. I’m sure it’s an anomaly as the three other zipper pull installations went just fine.

I contacted support, and within a couple days an order for a brand new backpack was made free of charge! All other zippers work as intended, so now I have two backpacks to my name! They didn’t ask to have my old backpack shipped to them, they didn’t tell me to try any fixes for the broken zipper, and didn’t even charge shipping, such great and prompt support all around.
