Community Rules

You must post before you leave

Be nice. Assume others have good intent (within reason).

Block or ignore posts, comments, and users that irritate you in some way rather than engaging. Report if they are actually breaking community rules.

Use content warnings and/or mark as NSFW when appropriate. Most posts with content warnings likely need to be marked NSFW.

Most 196 posts are memes, shitposts, cute images, or even just recent things that happened, etc. There is no real theme, but try to avoid posts that are very inflammatory, offensive, very low quality, or very "off topic".

Bigotry is not allowed, this includes (but is not limited to): Homophobia, Transphobia, Racism, Sexism, Abelism, Classism, or discrimination based on things like Ethnicity, Nationality, Language, or Religion.

Avoid shilling for corporations, posting advertisements, or promoting exploitation of workers.

Proselytization, support, or defense of authoritarianism is not welcome. This includes but is not limited to: imperialism, nationalism, genocide denial, ethnic or racial supremacy, fascism, Nazism, Marxism-Leninism, Maoism, etc.

Avoid AI generated content.

Avoid misinformation.

Avoid incomprehensible posts.

No threats or personal attacks.

No spam.

Moderator Guidelines

Moderator Guidelines

  • Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
  • Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
  • When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
  • Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
  • Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
  • Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
  • Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
  • Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
  • Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
  • Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
  • Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
  • Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
  • First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
  • Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
  • No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
  • Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
  • Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.

Sprites work even if a bit unoptimized at the moment (currently only shader and material reuse is optimized, each sprite is still a separate draw call.

Tiles work, but I still need to test scrolling and effects like scaling, shearing, and rotation.

another wall of text funi. enjoy... if you're into this kinda stuff ~ <3

I have to put the image description here because it exceeds the character limit for the alt text.

Image descriptiona tall image with a my little pony background with the header "I used to think I were Discord". To the left an illustration of discord looking smug saying "hey hey! so... where is Fluttershy? Don't tell Twilight, but we wanted to have a little tea party...". A bullet point list says: "- very masculine and forward in interactions - a surprisingly interesting side-character - hard to interpret and predict when unknown - fun to be around when comfy - making jokes about toxic masculinity daily - making a big fuss about everything - turns literally everything into a show - always feels watched - breaks the fourth wall at every oportunity - opens up towards very close friends... - doesn't truly want to be aggressive like this... - self-talks to keep viewers engaged even when alone... - would like to be as comforting as some others are to him... - would really really really really really really really really really like to be a girl...". At the end of the list, the characters get smaller and smaller, almost unreadable. A large text undrneath says "Turns out you don't have to be Discord". Below "Being Discord is an option like any other". Another bulletpoint list in a purple feminine color lists this "- I want to make others feel comfortable - I want to feel as soft as a Fluttershy - I want to do something with my life - I want to be empathetic - I want to be less sick of myself". Another text block reads: "But to be that, I would have to do thingsI have never done before: - do things for myself and not the viewers - change my name - overhaul my behaviour completely - cut off my horns and tail - undergo serious surgeries just to look like a pony - tell people i was trolling with my previous character". The final text is large and says "Maybe I should stay Discord. for a while...". Around that text there are images of Fluttershy from the My little pony: Friendship is magic show. There are pink curves drawn around her, where she has curvy visuals. There is an image with Discord and Flutershy sitting together drinking tea. There are pink curves around Fluttershy aswel las hearts and a feminine illustraction of a face pointing to her. Discord has many red arrows and an angry masculine face pointing to him. The arrows point towards his hrons, tail, wings, his tooth and beard. There is another image of Fluttershy looking sad at her cutiemark, which is the incorrect one she usually has, making her uncomfortable because of it

EDIT: Put "image description in post text body" into alt text

AltA post by cureltyserpent containing an excerpt from a book. The excerpt reads "Magnetic Dog Sisters were on the door that night, and I didn't relish trying to get out past them if things didn't work out. They were two meters tall and thin as greyhounds. One was black and the other white, but aside from that they were as nearly identical as cosmetic surgery could make them. They'd been lovers for years and were bad news in a tussle. I was never quite sure which one had originally been male.". The poster comments "Can't beleive [sic] the first characters described in classic cyberpunk fiction are lesbian (one trans) puppygirls with a sister kink".

I'm not the artist so here's the link for the source of the image

Today I met up for lunch with a friend then went on a nice chill walk afterwards. We ended up at a local park near one of the rivers in my area and took a nap under a tree bursting with cherry blossoms.

It was nice to forget the world even just for a little bit.
