There ain't no denying BW is way more difficult to play compared to SC2. That isn't the argument I'm trying to make here.

But...if sc2 is easier (me mechanically), surely those most proficient in bw would pick up free cash in the sc2 scene.

Maybe there isn't enough sc2 cash prize pools or just perhaps maybe sc2 is more strategically-biased?

I dunno, enlighten my dumbass.

Like the idiom "bringing a knife to a gun fight". For instance, among the top Zergs:

  • Serral is the kind of guy who brings a gun to a gun fight and wins, period.
  • Reynor is the kind of guy who brings a machine gun to a gun fight.
  • Dark is the kind of guy who brings a hot glue gun, a water gun, and a staple gun to a gun fight, and somehow wins anyway.
  • Rogue is the kind of guy who brings an artillery cannon to a gun fight.
  • Lambo is the kind of guy who brings the user manuals for all 40 previous iterations of his gun to a gun fight.
  • soO and Elazer are the kind of guys who bring clubs to a gun fight.
  • Solar is the kind of guy who gets nuked in a gun fight. [I'm sorry]

For the Terrans:

  • ByuN and Clem are the kind of guys who bring BB guns to a gun fight.
  • Gumiho is the kind of guy who brings an entire arsenal to a gun fight, then flips a coin to see what he uses.
  • Maru's the grizzly veteran who brings all his favorite guns to a gun fight, but his guns are old and randomly misfire.

For the Protoss:

  • Stats is the kind of guy who brings a shield to a gun fight. [okay, that was too obvious]
  • herO's the kind of guy who brings a smile and a knife to a gun fight.
  • Classic and Trap are the kind of guys who can dodge bullets in a gun fight.
  • has is the kind of guy who will try to hit you over the head with his kitchen sink in a gun fight.

That's all I got, hit me with your best!

dunno if this was posted here before, last game starts at 46 minutes in and is the funniest game by far, altho the whole series is good.

notes:

-this is the worst i think i've seen clem ever play a finals or vs a top tier korean. i used to think he was unflappable, a bot personified. interesting to see him being so visibly shaken up.

-i do enjoy pig casts.

-rouge is still a beast, but his lategame is kinda sus. i want to see the byun match where he did the same strat and apperently byun was able to handle it a lot better.

-dont think we gotta worry about this popping up on the ladder, i can't imagine even your avg NA GM being able to successfully pull this strat off.

-im willing to chalk this up to a bad game from clem. time will tell if this is the new BL/infestor.

edit: lmao, after i posted this, i went to youtube and this video popped up:

clem's webcam POV during the series lol.

as a young person, i’ve had my fair share of toxicity in games such as fortnite, dota, league, rocket league, etc. what weirds me out about most rts games i play is how non toxic the games are? Like i don’t get called anything, I just go in ladder, do 2-1-1 medivac drop, macro, and the game goes well! Nothing toxic at all. Just wondering why.

Or are they different species? and have some sort of symbiotic relationship, like the Broodlord provides food and shelter and broodlings protect the host?

A third option could be Broodlords grow them similarly to Swarmhosts as a defensive mechanism

What are your predictions for Xbox Game pass launch? Will there be some big patch? Maybe ladder going to get fixed finally?

I am full of hopes and copes.

I was waching few games and in most of them the zerg player was putting bane nest/ infest pit/ nydus near their 3rd/4rd base, not even puting it behind mineral lines, just in front. Why?

Isnt it like the worst place to put important building when they can be just destroyed by random push? Why dont put them in your main/ second base?
