I finally beat it after so many attempt (almost 10 attempts I think and I restarted the campaign to gain confidence on previous missions lol). I kinda suck at RTS games but I wanted to try SC harder this time. It's so damn hard for me but I progress. I have like 25/30APM :)

Onto the Zerg campaign now.

I came across a source that states SC2 total sales numbers are about 20 million copies:

If true, this is far more than SC and BW which sold about 11 million copies (though I assume SC2 numbers include HoTS and LoTV as well), and would contradict the claim that WOW horse made more money than SC2. But, I am not so sure if this number is reliable: I haven't seen official claim from Blizzard about SC2 sales numbers since LoTV launch day.

What do you guys think? Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if sales numbers of SC2 surpassed that of SC (WoL sold 6 million as of 2012, HoTS sold 1.1 million copies on first two days, and LoTV has sold more than 1 million on its launch day).

What if all units and buildings have only 1 HP(and 1 shield for protoss) in Starcraft 2 Multiplayer? And what about in Starcraft broodwar Multiplayer? What would be the best race and worst race in each game?

A little thought experiment I came up with after watching one of my favorite Starcraft youtubers' videos, and after seeing Giant Grant Games play WoL 1 HP mode I thought I might as well see what you guys think.

When the opponent you beat in the same league as yourself accuses you of smurfing and tells you to "go back to masters!" Lmao, like thanks for the compliment homie but I'm a diamond league scrub just as you are lol.

So ive gotten back into Starcraft again, and finally gotten around to buying and completing LOTV (and playing the race swap custom campaigns) and have noticed something. The Tal'darim are kinda the weakest of all the Protoss tribes. The Raiders beat the crap outta them across the WoL campaign, the only other time the Raiders beat a Protoss is with Selendis, who likely didnt want to fight Artanis' "Friend Raynor" (if you were simping for Hanson that is). In HoTS Kerrigan also takes out the Mobius Tal'darim, with Zeratul and Talis even being able to reach Ma'lash as he contacted Amon. In LoTV, Alarak kind of feels like he's all talk. He has all this pride and aura and boasts of his skill, but still goes to Artanis after getting beaten by him over Glacius. Sure he's powerful during Templar's return, but come The Last Stand, at normal difficulty Alarak died to the first Zerg wave that hit his base, before the Keystone was even 1/10th the way charged. In Nova Ops the Defenders and Dominion both defeat the Tal'darim, with Alarak basically just saying "I'll get you for this!" at the end. For such a warlike and cutthroat culture, they kind of just arent as powerful as they project themselves to be. I feel like the only reason they're seen as being powerful is simply with their numbers, with them getting swacked horrendously whenever they end up fighting a peer opponent.

And not just the bioball. But the medivacs and vikings too. They're like animals. And i stormed them like animals. I hate them!

So last night I absolutely peaked. I played a couple games at like 4am even though I have work today.

I am sitting in silver one, just started getting into 1v1 and have probably not even played 30 matches. But I went up against a terran in a super heated game where every single time I killed his army he rebuilt perfectly and clearly he was better at macroing and general micro and reacting to my attacks since he took half the map, but I was able to keep his expansions at bay and do a few WP plays and I think that was enough to keep him from attacking me.

But holy shit did I psi storm the hell out of that guy. That spell is so OP. He could never approach me. And there was a time where I stormed him twice with the only two storms I had left and he was just afraid to even approach me for fear of more so I was able to whittle him down.

And then after the W I see he has 208 apm to my 80 and I check his match history and he is one of those guys who deranks by joining games and leaving at 0 seconds to keep his MMR down. And he usually sits in plat 1. Felt so good. He definitely was the least aggressive good player I've seen, I guess he trusted his defense a bit too much, and could have beaten me easily if he'd gone BCs or Thors.

I realized after that, since he was pretty comfortable with microing all of the units in the heat of battle, (made great use of ravens IM and stuff) that he probably would've destroyed me if he had a couple ghosts. Thank god he didn't.

Not gonna name anyone. It's of course not a wrong thing at all. In fact the presence of the world champ would often boost viewership for the community based tournaments, now that ESL weeklies is no longer being run.

But the pro player kinda make a valid point as well. Smaller tournaments could be quite literally the only way a pro player not in the top 20 could earn anything. The small existing prize pool being dominated by a single guy currently may not be healthy for the competitive scene.

An interesting point he made as well was he respected the previous world champ for not participating in the lower leagues.

What do you guys think? What would be a health way to address this issue?

Original Title: I assume you've heard that Blizzard planned WarCraft, DIablo and Overwatch series on Netflix but this all fell through because AB sued Netflix. Well, turns out Jason Schreier made a typo and what Blizzard actually planned was a StarCraft series and not WarCraft. He edited his comment an hour ago.

This thing:

¯_(ツ)_/¯

I remember it starting in like 2011 with a starcraft streamer. I can't find anything about it online. He was a semi-pro asian guy.

Does anyone else remember this starting with starcraft?
