I guess my initial draw when I was a kid was the campaign, as I was already a fan of Warcraft II. I got into making UMS maps too for a long time, then SC2 when that came out. Not really a fan of sc2 ums. I guess I just wish there was something to do after the campaign for me. I’ve always been really bad at ranked for both games, but also lacked a desire to get faster.

I guess the perfect mode for me would be one where both people have to amass a huge army, THEN fight, but I would be bad at this too because I don’t enjoy micro. Really all of this is to say, I guess, that this game isn’t for me. I don’t enjoy macro, I don’t enjoy micro, so theres really nothing left except army/base building, which isn’t really a game on its own.

Luckily I still haven’t bought Legacy of the Void to this day, so I still have some campaign experience left for the future lol.

Note: I’ve taken years off from the game and only come back occasionally, so it’s not a burnout thing. These are just my thoughts after recently returning to the game and remembering how bad I am at ranked.

terran: siege thank, lowkey the goat nothing much to say

zerg: roach, great health and damage just lacks air defence and arent really expensive

protoss: colosuss, paired with zealots destroy armies, stalkers for air protection

I just checked Liquipedia and it seems there are no More Sc2 tournaments for the whole year. Is that correct? Would be pretty sad:(

In master league I’ve been in that moment where it’s obvious that I have just won the game (taking down the third, winning a big fight with 100 supply lead, etc…) and then suddenly I lose connection and get the “Attempting to reconnect” message. I’m forced to surrender and he gets the win.

I did check the history and this person had 4 other wins where the opponent had a decisive amount more points than him in the game summary but still lost.

Can people legit delete you from the game when they are losing? If so, what the actual fuck.

Edit: if this ends up being a thing I’ll include the name on the account… but I don’t want to falsely accuse if this isn’t possible and it’s some server/ISP issue.

As a fan who spent hours on campaign, I would say the better archive system in HotS as not having an archive system tied to a saved game made things more convenient.

so i am basically the worst player in the world and i honestly do not know what to do or how to improve and to be honest i am not even sure i know what i am doing wrong like within less then 5 min i am already dead and i am not sure how do anything. like while i am still building up my first bracks for example mraines with medics and firebots are already attacking my base that is how bad i am.

mine personally is zerg guardian, good damage, good health and armor and range is nice overall great unit for controlling ground, brood lord is great but they could done that mutalisk can evolve in guardian as well
