I already posted to the other site but I thought a heads up here about a local company, InfraredHeat.ca would be good. They claim to be a reseller of Ducoterra infrared radiant heating panels.

Many months back, I ordered some panels, paid the full amount, and have been waiting ever since. There have nothing but excuses, and when I finally asked for a refund, they cut off all communication.

Looking at their Google reviews, it's a flood of 1-star ratings with customers sharing similar experiences.

I understand businesses can hit snags, but this seems like a whole different ball game. Just thought I'd share my experience and caution anyone considering buying from them.

I'm looking into what I can do next. If you've had a similar experience or have advice on dealing with this, I'd appreciate hearing from you.

In the event of a tornado, or if a tornado warning is issued for your area, it is recommended you take the following actions: Go indoors to a room on the lowest floor, away from outside walls and windows, such as a basement, bathroom, stairwell or interior closet. Leave mobile homes, vehicles, tents, trailers and other temporary or free-standing shelter, and move to a strong building if you can. As a last resort, lie in a low spot and protect your head from flying debris. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!

Tornado watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce tornadoes.

Wife and I just watched the first episode of this season's Amazing Race Canada. The race started in Winnipeg, and it looks like the contestants spent a grand total of 35 minutes here before spending the rest of this leg in Calgary. It was kind of cool seeing the city on TV, but I can't help but feel like we got done dirty. They could have easily had more challenges here to show off our great city but instead we got to see Calgary's library and some douche hipster bar.

Is there a store that sells a wide variety of bitters? Liquormart effectively has Angostura in three varieties, and Fernet Branca but that's it

After the guy dumped dirt on the memorial, I feel like this is pretty poor optics even if it's something the City needs to move forward on right now.
