Why isn't an easy way to move images around the default?

Hey, I was calling you out because your argument was stupid. It was "Trump is stupid, therefore I can't be stupid".

And for the grammatical mistake, I was throwing in some humour by saying I probably failed at that too. Sorry if you're too dense to see that.

Thankfully I had the opposite: "So if I ace this assignment, I'll go up another letter grade?" This does not translate to graduate work where there isn't grading though.

Just because it feels like Trump has taken all the stupid, it doesn't mean there's not enough for you to be stupid too.

(Now checking my post for any grammatical errors lest I be called stupid too, probably failed)

I loved setting mine to the frequency of a local station and watching the confusion in other cars at a stop light if they were listening to the same frequency. I didn't do it too often because it is pretty annoying though and not too hard to figure out who's doing it.

Sorta like how Oreo is superior to Hydrox even though it's the knock-off brand.

Almost like a carbon tax would help realize the costs to the environment that overseas shipping and energy usage causes.

I love that song.

Probably better for you anyway. Microwave popcorn is loaded with PFAS chemicals nowadays. It's put in the liner of the bag.

The sometime later is getting a call from the doctor that they have an STD and needed medication for it.

I also like how OP implied beer goggles were involved.

When using a crosswalk on foot, I always make sure a car is stopped in it's lane before proceeding to the next lane. Full eye contact. It doesn't matter that I'm in a crosswalk. I might have been in the right, but that won't matter if I die.

It's the same with cycling. Cameras will only help after the fact, and maybe a bit if it's very visible. But the best thing you can do is not trust any car, and avoid travelling where you have to trust cars.

This is my favourite podcast. It features two contestants who are minor celebrities and asks them for three topics outside their field of work in which they are experts in, and then crafts a trivia quiz for them. Finally they bring in an expert to evaluate their responses, and the show is able to get some amazing experts who are a joy to listen to and usually the response from the contestent meeting the expert is incredibly wholesome.

This episode features Tim Russ so I thought the TenForward community might like it. There also some additional Star Trek trivia and personalities even during the part of the episode that features the other contestant Amber Nelson.

Tim Russ's three topics are - Astronomy, Alien invasion movies of the 1950s and 60s, and World War II. You can find out more about why Tim was intereted in these topics.

Also noteable quote from the episide: "I think Tim might be the center of the universe!"

I saw the thumbnail and thought "Oh no, I can't handle this!"

Visa and Mastercard are American companies, and they essentially tax everybody by taking a percentage of purchase prices for themselves. Not exactly a small percentage either, 1.2% to 2.65%. Ever wonder why so many merchants say they don't accept American Express? That's because they charge quite a bit more to merchantes, 50% more than Visa or Mastercard. Anyway, we're letting American companies tax us and we love them because we get rewards when we use cards. But it's just a shell game because we pay more up front because businesses need to charge more to make up for payment processing charges. They get to sit in the middle and rake in the money.

Now the alternative in Canada is Interac. Interac charges a set amount per transcation. How much? 2 to 5.5 cents. Unless you're going through Apple or Google Pay, and then it's a percentage again.

Interac is also Canadian.

Want to stick it to Trump? Stop using credit cards (and Google Pay or Apple Pay) and switch to Interac. Want to make Canada better? Stop using credit cards and switch to Interac. Is it going to be inconvenient? Yes. Online shopping will be much harder but I have seen online Interac payments before and we can ask our favourite Canadian merchants to accept Interac online.

This has been the best peanut butter I've ever had, but it's a product of the USA. I just love the taste the dark roast adds. I've never seen any other brands that do the same thing. Any suggestions out there?

All frontends other than the default at lemmy.ca seem to be down, giving a Cloudflare 520 error message.

Working at the office today and from all angles cars are reflecting sunlight into my eyes. Just realized that bicycle parking wouldn't be causing this slight inconvenience to me. Fuck cars.
