Is it safe to remove Samsung's "My Files" app with ADB? (lemmy.today)

I didn't know where else to ask, but my phone seems to default to the AOSP default "Files" app and I do not use Samsung's version. I want to remove it via ADB, but I fear data loss/file deletion. I have come here as a last resort as I can find this nowhere online.

On new mobile I use android deblote tool and remove with it all recommended apps.

And I have only aosp default files app so I think that it is possible. Just to be safe I would make back up.
