People in the article cannot understand just why this is happening. Meanwhile Marx and Engels wrote about this in 1800s.

But yeah the sheer amount of waste generation is staggering. I watched the video and spotted a few things I could use and I am pretty privileged already.

I find it very amusing how the west keeps chest pounding about freedom of expression and diversity of opinion. Yet, you'd be hard press to find a western economist who has even cursory familiarity with Marxist economic theory.
