Gotta say, we timed our Queensland getaway well this year. Definitely not summer temps up here, but it's also not ridiculously cold like it seems to be down there....
Frosty morning but with the sun out and still air it's honestly very pleasant right now. I've taken off my jumper and switched off the heater in my north facing study
agreed - just went for a walk at lunch, and itbwas beautiful outside. cracking winter day.
I think I will finish tidying the terrace, sweep and then it's done. 😄

I specifically picked this apartment because of the aspect (technically northeast). And I'm hoping and praying they don't bump the rent for a while because I really don't want to be forced into a darker place if that's all I'll be able to afford.
How are your plants holding up?
Haven't checked on them tbh, but I suspect they'll be okay... I'll have another look tomorrow, I think they'll need a water soon.
