Currently 31ยฐ outside, and 27.7ยฐ inside. I set myself up for failure because I went to sleep with my window open and it was both 25 inside and outside by the time I woke up

I have to go back to the old place today to vacuum and grab my cleaning supplies and such. After that, it'll probably be about 30ยฐ inside. I've got some ice blocks in the freezer (but don't currently have an ice cube tray), so I'm gonna find a way to suspend those behind the high velocity fan to try and get some cooling happening. Or maybe I could put them in a big bowl with some water and that might be a bit more efficient

Gotta hand the keys back after I finish up today. Then my move will be finalized. Spooky. Unfortunately my parcel hasn't moved from Dandenong South yet, so I do find it unlikely that it arrives today. Hopefully tomorrow.

A more efficient way might be to dampen some breathable material and put it over the fan. Just make sure the material won't get caught in the blades. Is a similar idea to the Coolgardie safe

Spray bottle with some cold water and a fan works wonders! even just a cold wet facewasher on the forehead or neck.

Yep! I bought a misting fan from Kmart last week. Just need to buy a few batts for it, because of course with all the chaos I have no clue where the gigantic hoard of batteries I have are

We used to do wet pillowcases. I don't know why pillowcases specifically, but that's what we always did
