So, politicians allowing it will now be arrested and put on trial, yes? Yes? Yes...?
It's more likely that if there were some enforcement (spoilers: there won't be) then it would probably be sanctions or something which would just fuck everyone over except the people who actually complicit in the criminal acts in the first place.
