Summary

A 66-million-year-old fossilized vomit, or "regurgitalite," was discovered by fossil hunter Peter Bennicke at Stevns Klint in Denmark.

The fossil, named Danekræ DK-1295, contains sea lily fragments from at least two species, likely regurgitated by a Cretaceous-era predator.

Regurgitalites are rare but provide insights into ancient ecosystems and food chains.

The find, confirmed by experts, is designated as a "Danekræ" treasure and will be displayed at the Geomuseum Faxe in a special exhibition.
