don't cats actually tend to slap things without claws? maybe it depends on what and why, like they won't slap each other with claws out because they don't actually want to hurt each other, just play or tell the other cat to sod off
I don't know for other cats, but my cats claw each other and us whenever possible, especially if you approach them like in that picture. The clawless slap usually arrived with a body slam and a bite. The beasts I raize do no cute hi-fives. Love those assholes.
Definitely depends on the cat. If I play with my big boy the finger coming out of a hole game I know I'm probably going to get hurt. But his brother doesn't bring the claws out. I have another set of brothers who like to do the grab and bunny kick game with hands, one of them just kicks so lightly and the other will absolutely fuck up your entire forearm if you aren't careful. None of the 4 have ever bitten me though. They do the fake out like they're going to bite you really fast but they just touch their mouth to you.
On the one hand, yes, that's correct! On the other, we've never watched uservoid1 interact with cats before.
