Nissan could easily make a comeback with the right leadership. There are so many gaps in the market (no sedans or compacts in US, no cheap EVs). It will be interesting to see if the next Leaf revision addresses any of the shortcomings of past models (passive battery cooling, Chademo, slow charging). They were first to market with affordable and practical EVs, so you’d think they could be renting out their tech to other manufacturers lagging in that space.
