My preferred label for people who look like they might be femboys, nb, and/or trans?
Cute! 😍
Agreed, we certainly are cute.
You know, I agree. Not so much in the "wanna kiss" kinda way, but I find the "look" side of things makes me feel protective and want to make sure they can be happy and safe. I don't think I'd say that irl until I knew the person well enough that they would know what that means for me, because I know it could be taken wrong.
But, yeah, the first time I ran across a "proper" femboy irl, someone totally sunk into presenting that way, it made me feel paternal. Like, c'mere, lemme feed you and keep you safe. Mind you, that first kid was a kid, a friend of my kid, so the whole paternal response wasn't unusual.
But, even back when I was bouncing at a drag bar, there were what got called twinks back then. Feminine presenting, generally androgynous if not outright embracing all the accoutrements of the scene. Even the ones that were older than me, made me want to give them a hug and make sure they were okay. Some of the regulars, I did hug and make sure they didn't leave unsafe. I tried to make sure nobody left unsafe at all, but there's only so much you can do.
I have no idea why really. I don't respond like that to women, or kids once they're into their teens usually, if they're not part of my family or constructed family groups. But there's something about that kind of presentation that makes me go awwwww. They're just cute.
