The source is me. I'm from Kyiv, Ukraine. I have not been drafted yet because I haven't left my apartment for three months already. The nearest military drafters' hunting post is ~100 meters from my house. They use civil vehicles to jump out of and grab men in surprise. Foreign help is not enough to cover the overwhelming enemy force with weapons, not men.
It sounds hard to believe but I also know that this would most likely not be communicated over pro-Ukrainian channels if true.
Understandably, these things are not being cried out publicly, but this is the rough reality of being outnumbered. Don't think I'm some kind of anti-government opposition guy who's waiting for russia to come. No, not at all. I gave all my life savings to my country as government military bonds and if we lose I lose everything I own. And my life, of course :D But yeah, there's no way to be saved from the military draft except by bribe. Alas, I even know how much for each drafting stage.
