It's a cop, and not just a beat cop, a cop in a position of authority.
And he's outright saying racist shit.
He is absolutely capable of taking that opinion and weaponizing it against black people in his jurisdiction.
When they get a complaint at work, take it seriously and punish them. Don't troll social media for all the stupid shit they post and threaten them with it. That's not how you handle this. I don't think any unelected official, or person not specifically in a spokesperson role should be penalized for their bad takes. Thats not the lesson that should be learned from these fascists.
I don't think you get the gravity of a police officer publicly using racist rhetoric
I do. It's only the 1,000,000th time. It's a weirdo conservative talking point popularized in 2021 by Larry Elder. They almost certainly are racist, but this isn't the proof of that. They should be looked at with greater scrutiny going forward though.
