Do you want Marines patrolling our streets? While I agree with the sentiment, there is a non zero chance that this would qualify Canada into the oil for freedom kinetic négociation program. Our best option is to wait for the inevitable usa civil war to come and hope it doesn't spill too much north.
Sit back and let fascism root in our own country as well. Good plan. That's what America has done. Italy as well. France is on the way. Germany too...should I continue.

To be clear: the approach you've outlined is incompatible with anti-fascism. Therefore you can't claim that moral high horse. Your approach is fundamentally flawed in that it's still dogmatically invested in capitalistic top-down power consolidation.
Please, dear god. Get off the internet and sign up to help your local mutual aid organizations. We can do so so so much more to combat fascism by reminding each other of our collective strength, compassion, and humanity. That really is the antidote to fascism, and we all need to be working toward that more than anything our federal government can do via tarrifs or trade bans.

I'll keep my trauma kit stocked (trained medic with decades of experience) and my knowledge updated. I'll grow food and share with my neighbors as I always have and I will offer my knowledge and what is left of my body to fight tyranny the only way it understands. My life is mutual aid for my fellow man. I have dedicated my life mind and body to serve in a job for my fellow man that is not appreciated by the society it helps. I volunteer locally with many organizations that deal with feeding people and offer my knowledge and time to educate young people in my community. I donate to my local food bank fresh food grown in my large garden and greenhouse. Assuming you know me because you disagree with me just makes you an ass.
And I support decoupling as quickly as possible and even becoming antagonistic towards the US regime and it's corporate structure regardless of political or social consequence.
Me too, we just differ on how quickly that can happen without driving average people into the arms of fascists.
30% of our population would be glad to see it, and 30% is all it took in the US this past election.
No way in hell that happens. Not because of Trump's geopolitical acumen, mind you, but because it'd start a civil war, split the country in half and turn America into a global pariah state. And either way America does not have what it takes to occupy Canada. See: Afghanistan.
