I've been growing for years and it's the first time I get a polyploid specimen. Looks neat :)

This is fascination in a pineapple.
I genuinely had a triploid individual once, and it would've made seed if that one pathetic little thieving c*nt m hadn't gone and stolen it mid-flower. It may not have had time to finish as the falls are shit here but it could've done.
There aren't pairs of leaves, but triples. It was a beautiful one, taller than me (>183cm). Hate that pathetic thief. He still owes me for that even when it was 20 years ago. I'm going to make him pay when I see him.
