Community Guidelines
- Be constructive. As a community this is place for discussion, things you liked, things you didn't like, any everything in between. Low effort comments don't add to the discussion.
- Be civil. Disagreements happen. Don't attack others. Take a moment and reconsider before you post an inflammatory comment in all caps.
- No spam. Please don't post spam, trolling or other low effort content. If you're a human and you saw something interesting or had an interesting thought, you're probably fine.
- Memes are allowed. We're a small community, feel free to post memes or similar content. Funny things are good. If it becomes a problem we can discuss changing the rules.
In addition like any community we follow the Lemmy.World content policy rules. In short, don't attack people or groups.
Spoiler Guidelines
- Be mindful when posting spoilers or spoiler content.
- If you're making a post put "(Spoilers)" at the start of your post.
- If your post is an image mark it as NSFW.
- If you're making a comment use the Lemmy spoilers markdown.
When should something no longer be considered a spoiler? In general use your best judgement. If want something more specific,
- For films, wait until it's been released to streaming for at least a few weeks.
- For TV shows, consider the whole season as a spoiler until the last episode of the season has aired, then wait a few weeks.

Yep. Its just astroturfers being overly sensitive and defensive, since the movie has opened recently.
Is this comment not under the license?
Um, are you literally following me around, checking my comments?
I'm sorry to have disappointed you by not adding a licensing link to my comment that you replied to. Didn't realize you needed that in your life.
Don't worry though, I got you covered. Sleep well, little one, sleep well. ...

To be fair, you're commenting all over this thread. I was genuinely interested in why one message wouldn't have your little copy paste, if there was any significance in that. I do think the whole thing is silly, but it was genuine curiosity.
Well I only license label my content when it's actually content from me, and not me simply replying to a question with an answer. At least that's my general rule that I try to use.
But honestly, I tend to think you're more backtracking than being honest about your reasons why you made your initial comment to me, considering you made it at the same time I'm having a heated discussion with others about my use of a license on another post. If I'm wrong in that, you have my apologies.
But it did seem a little creepy for you to make that comment, considering it has nothing to do with the subject being discussed. I mean, you could always just let it go, and not comment on it in the first place. /shrug

Well, what in this comment do you consider content? I don't understand why the comment you've made here is more "content" than answering a question.
Check my history and you'll see I'm also engaging with, and actually being WAYYYYY meaner to, the guy that was being a dick to you. Kinda embarrassed him tbh.
I don't see why you would think it's creepy. It's not like I'm personally interested in you or your life. I just wondered why you seemed to be inconsistent about it.
I consider most of what I type as content that I create. But if its a very simple phrase, like "thank you", something like that, I won't bother with the link, because I also declare everything that I post/command is covered by the same license in my user account information.
And I do appreciate the defence, truly. I just wish I didn't have to talk/type so much about the license/link, vs being able to talk about the subjects that I am commenting in/on instead. Its why I keep referring people to my comment history, if they are being intellectually honest and have an honest curiosity as to why I do it, so that I can talk about the subject at hand instead of CC licenses usage.
