Yes, because I don't know anything about them other than they made the mistake of buying a cybertruck. Washable vandalism is fine, but don't do stuff that requires repairs unless you know the person deserves it.

They gave elon money, they deserve it.

There is plausible deniability that they didn't know just how awful he was when they bought it.

The Cybertruck started selling way after it was pretty universally known Elon was a complete moron

There is plausible deniability that they didn’t know just how awful he was when they bought it.

No, there really isn't. Someone who bought a regular Tesla model years ago can make that claim. But the cybertruck came out recently, well after Musk took over twitter and turned it into Nazi HQ. Musk has been using Twitter to platform Nazis, promote them, and throttle the spread of non-Nazi content. Look at the "free speech advocate" Elon Musk allowing literal Nazis to post vile hate while censoring the word "cisgender" as hate speech. Look at his many posts in favor of eugenics, great replacement, the elimination of trans people, and encouraging white babies. Musk is literally a Nazi, and that has been abundantly clear since well before the cybertruck's release. Everyone who bought a cybertruck either knowingly or negligently gave tens of thousands of dollars to the most famous Nazi in America. Everyone who bought a cybertruck is a Nazi sympathizer. They might claim that they didn't buy it to send a message, that they don't support Nazis. But you don't get to take that stance with Nazis. They are enemies of all mankind, no different from groups like ISIS. If you are giving substantial monetary assistance to Nazis, you ARE a Nazi sympathizer. You either support them, or you care so little that you don't mind that you're funding Nazis.

I wouldn't care about someone's motives if they sent ISIS $100k. I don't care if they're sending money to ISIS because they're a radical Islamist and love the idea of a caliphate. I don't care if they support ISIS simply because like supporting what they see as anti-colonial resistance efforts against Western hegemony. I don't care if they send ISIS money simply because they're an edgy YouTuber trying to do it as a prank. I don't care whatever excuses people dream up. If you send $100k to ISIS, you are a terrorist sympathizer and supporter, regardless of what insanity is going through your head at the time. When you start throwing around that kind of money, the moral obligation is on YOU to make sure you're not supporting something horrible. And Musk is such a publicly prominent Nazi that it is simply common knowledge. I do not buy that someone could be a big enough Tesla fanboy to buy a cybertruck and somehow also be ignorant of Musk being a Nazi.

Honestly, these vehicles deserve far worse than some paint on them. They really deserve to be set on fire. This is but a fraction of what these rolling Nazi billboards deserve. These people are Nazi sympathizers and enablers. That is literally what they are. The last time we dealt with Nazis, this kind of monetary support to Nazis could get you years in prison or even hanged as a traitor.

People have an ethical responsibility to be politically informed. If it's 2024 (and it was when OOP bought it) and they don't know Elon is a Nazi, then the people are entitled to use aggressive means of education.

We all thought the "information superhighway" was going to change the world by informing everyone. And then people chose to stay ignorant. That's what's ruining the world. Ignorance is a form of violence.

People should not take it upon themselves to damage the property of random people they don't think are politically informed enough. What to stop others from doing the same to you because they think that you aren't politically informed enough by their standards?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago

Sure they should! actions have consequences. Otherwise people will just take advantage of others. I am not worried about people doing the same to me because I to participate in actions that help make others lives worse.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

Nothing, now that they've seized power by not encountering enough of such resistance as this. And boy howdy are they trying

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 days ago

I have no sadness for someone able to buy an 80k hunk of steel and yet cants pull their head out of their own ass to see what's going on. And I think you're going to just die on this ideological hill vs seeing the practical line in the sand that has been crossed.

The fact that I don't own a Cybertruck

[–] [email protected] -2 points 2 days ago

Cybertrucks aren't the only things in existence that can be damaged.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 days ago

You're trying to turn is/is not a nazi into some nuanced thing. It's not nuanced.

Plausible deniability went out the window in 2018 when he called people paedophiles because he's a projecting prick.

This wanktank wasn't on the market in 2018.
