And? I'm 99% sure that wasn't a factor when they created the accounts. It's just that mastodon has a generous 0% chance at becoming mainstream compared to Bluesky. And also Jack Dorsey has left the bsky board a long time ago, he's not involved with the project anymore.

Which is irrelevant. RSS is not mainstream and CBC still supports it, because it's the right thing to do.
