Forcing veganism on animals who can't decide for themselves seems ethically gray though dogs can survive on this diet unlike cats.

You seriously reported me as "carnist"? You can take more than one second to react to see mod two plantbased coms? Vegan coms users continue to be overly sensitive.
I don't need scientific evidence, of which most of your links are anecdotal at best, to know that cats and dogs want to eat meat. Eating plantbased is about respecting animals as their own beings, of which killing and eating them is wrong. Forcing that ideology on said animals is deluded at best.
