There is nuance. No one is saying you can’t be sad for Ukranian children, we all are too and what’s happening there is horrendous as well.
The difference is that the IDF is specifcally going after kids. Not “whoops, collateral damage war is hell haha” but “hey, wanna kill some kids today?”
It’s like the difference between a murderer and murder-rapist. Both are awful, but one is objectively more twisted and fucked in the head than the other.
