Still incredibly new to all this, so sorry if this a daft question/ wrong place to put it.

But I came across this prefix you can apply to eg - Lemmy.World: https://old.lemmy.world/. It applies an “Old Reddit” theme to Lemmy. I tried it on a couple of communities, and it seems to work.

Except for Feddit.uk.

Anyone know what’s up with that? Who doesn’t old.feddit.uk work?

(Again - sorry if this is a silly question).

We had to turn old.feddit.uk off because it was getting hammered by bots and dragging the performance down. See the sidebar for other alternative frontends.

To be honest, I think they're both better than.old - they look nicer and have excellent functionality.
