It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:
Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.
Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.
Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

Folding adds a lot of weight and steel is heavy.
I have a 20" wheelfolding bike, and even with front and rear racks it's not 33lbs!
Even my steel MTB with 26" wheels isn't 33lbs! I wonder if they've simply overbuilt this for added durability.
Yep, that's kind of the point of the Gline: It's a beefy bike built to take a beating.
They're doing free tests rides in toronto, and I'm so tempted. $3000+ really is a little much, though. 😮💨
Ride it and if you like it, keep an eye out for used ones? I agree though, for over 3k I'd expect a Rollhoff hub
My main issue with Brompton, is that they don't have a dealer network that extends out my way. And since so many of the components are proprietary, that's kind of important!
I've spoken to Brompton owners who've had to wait on parts, or travel to the city to get them... not my cup of tea!
But seeing one in the wild always puts a smile on my face.
