We are still in this together, but "this" is going to be real different in the very near future. This demands a different kind of "we."
The French Resistance during Nazi occupation played important roles delivering downed Allied airmen back to safety, supplying military intelligence, and acts of sabotage.
The Underground Railroad is estimated to have brought 100,000 freedom seekers to safety between 1810 and 1850.
It's time.

I guess I should take some first aid classes.
You should do it just because! It can save yours or someone else's life!
I have always maintained that basic first aid and CPR should absolutely be taught to everyone.
Do it! Lots of it is stuff you'd do naturally for someone hurt but having the knowledge and confidence can truly make the difference for the person you help. It's pretty easy to find courses near you, check community colleges and local extension/parks & rec offices if you're in a rural area.
I learned my first instinct should not be to honk their butt. Live and learn, I guess...
But seriously, I was motivated to at least take a child CPR class when I became an uncle. You just never know...
