Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.
In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.
Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

True, I just have one smartphone, that I try to keep as far from my sensitive data as possible, not having any banking apps on it, like they always want you to have and not linking my credit card to any of the Google products. Also trying to use alternative apps that aren't run by the companies who usually do the spying.

I cant imagine living w/out banking apps (I have a side-business // startup and I sometimes have to deal with on-the-go payments )).
I probably earn more than you (no offense haha) but Im less paranoid about these stuff so why should you be lol? No offence again :)

Lmao I actually had a few laughs going through this guy's post history, good troll, I rate it 6/10.

You have reported that you received one message from a different account that was rude. You are also in this thread calling people paranoid, so... I will at this time remind everyone that we're trying not to have Lemmy be a cesspool, so please try to be polite. I am not seeing anyone behave in a way that seems obviously banworthy.
Their account is 7 hours old which corresponds to when the troll above was banned, but that's circumstantial. Their comments history, however, is factual. Please ban the troll.

Nobody with grammar and orthography that bad is believable when they pretend they earn lots of money. If you want to troll, at least try harder.
Altleast learn the meaning of the words before you make a clown of yourself by using them in a sentence on the internet and accusing others of being a mythical/fantastical creature. Perhaps then you wouldn't comment with broken sentences.
