He is trying to intentionally tank our economy. I think he's pissed we didn't vote for him in 2020.

He doesn't understand the economy well enough to intentionally tank it. You're right about the revenge part though. He is pissed about being rejected, prosecuted, and ridiculed.

The tariffs are his attempt, I think, to extract revenge on the "weak" leftist non-authoritarian democracies that don't show him deference or capitulation.
