I like how they always say exactly what they are doing but attribute it to the other side. People in general are savvy enough to know this. At least they used to be.
About a third of people aren't. They're so disengaged they don't bother examining things enough to see through it. They just see both sides accusing each other of the same thing, so in their minds it's awash - the issue no longer matters to them and the guilty party pays no price.
It's a blunt instrument but it works reliably.
I've had my fucking therapist try to both sides me about some stuff. I think she's slowly realizing exactly how bad shit really is though
