I moved out of the house where these were taken from last week. Nice memory.

Good God you live in a beautiful spot then for sure. Just been talking about Tassie with my mate that has been there before and is heading over in a few weeks with his newish girlfriend.

Tassie is compact, unique, varied, stunning and a whole lot more, certainly worth a visit, it will be getting cool in a few weeks time but things like Dark MoFo, kicking off early June, keep things interesting, including the unexpected like the nude solstice swim (NSFW): https://darkmofo.net.au/program/nude-swim

Brrrrrr. Oh I did visit about 21 years ago, in winter. An Englishman that has been in Australia for 31 years now. I adored Tassie. The whole package, it's bliss. Just a little too cold for my liking as I grew up in North West England and wanted to escape those temps. I mean it's been bloody awfully hot up here this summer and for far too long. It's just starting to cool down.

I had QLD friends that went to live there for two years, they stayed for 8. Hobart. They bought a house at the top of the hill on Bathurst Street.
