From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Yeah I know. The link is for an outdated version though, from my perspective you're being stubborn.

"This doesn't work"

"We fixed it in a new version"

"No, it has to work in the version I have"

"Your version is 3 years old, we're an open source project and don't have the resources to backport it."

"It has to work in the version I have."

"But--"

"This random third party guide says it works in my version. and it doesn't. Tell me how to fix it."

If you're so hung up on it having to work in the 3 year old version then message the author of that guide and ask them. And please send me the screenshot when they reply you should upgrade to Libreoffice 7.
