Describing this as a 'new wave of attacks' makes it sound like it's unprovoked, which it extremely was not. Which is a weird choice from an Iranian news org.

"New" just means "additional" after people had already assumed it was over. Really says something about how they are drinking the "Iran is about to collapse" koolaid that they began to feel safe hours after receiving an attack they swore IRGC was too chicken to launch.

Sure, but "retaliatory strikes" would probably be a more accurate descriptor. "Attack" often carries the implication of a first strike

Yup, that's the trend I was gesturing at with my initial comment as well, that it's weird that a government-sponsored news source would use a headline that echoes that sentiment in Western media.
