It'd be absolutely justified since the US is in full coordination with Israel. Not sure its wise though.

Iran has been extremely measured in their responses in the past decade. Israel clearly wants the US to get involved so Iran isn't going to involve them. I suspect their comfortable with making Israelis feel like Palestinians for once because I don't think Israelis will tolerate this for much longer.
