I think so but maybe it ain't so simple. Maybe it's theater before 'normalization' with Israel, as it slowly stops being America's pet project and becomes more integrated with the region? After all, the war appeases the moral side of the world after Israel/the USA took some hits, and it provides that pale devil Netanyahu excuses to remain in power and avoid the court for now plus it allows him to exit power more gracefully ("after decades of Middle Eastern aggression, I have reached a deal with them!"). We shall see.
