Proton has Linux clients for mail sync (Bridge) and VPN. They do not have a Linux client for their cloud Drive product.

No; the issue there is encryption / decryption. I see some comments elsewhere mentioning a 3rd party plugin via Rclone so there's some potential there but nothing officially supported.
