Fun fact; city council may not have ordered them to deploy to protect ice. LAPD+LASD might be just doing this on their own.

This order you propose, while sensible and the bare minimum a 'rule of law' person would propose, is not one the LAPD could or woukd follow. You dont understand who these monsters are.
