Watching Andor I was a bit annoyed at how poorly put together and ineffective the Rebellion was.

That's the whole point, they were mostly busy fighting each other, compare that to left political movements in the real world. It's how the empire lasted so long. The rebellion seems to mostly get their shit together with the destruction of the first death star, but that was a pretty close call and they almost lost their main base twice.

Oh absolutely! I was annoyed at Andor until I rewatched Rogue One and realized how little their shit was together. Which lead me to rewatch the original trilogy where it really highlights how lucky the rebellion was.
