Basically title. Now that the Fediverse got some traction going we have the golden opportunity to create a fresh community. So let‘s kick it off with an introduction thread!

Where are you from? What got you into Emo music? What‘s your local scene like? Do you play in a band? Let‘s get to know each other!

pretty empty community, but i’d really love to have like minded music lovers here on lemmy too, so i’ll go ahead and start off these introductions ;)

not sure if i’m technically supposed to be here, since i listen to more “emo” music than actual emo genre music (think more my chemical romance, get scared, pierce the veil, and the used rather than modern baseball basically) but i hope either this is the community for me or i’ll be able to find a more suitable one! either way though, music is super important to me emotionally and just something i love the feeling of listening to, though i’m not in a band or anything.
