i was for federation thinking that would made hex a part of lemmy, but apparently hex can be on lemmy and defederated from anything else. federation need to be reverted so hexbearers could keep a healthy brain cell count.

Technically we were "on lemmy" before 99.9999% of the world had ever heard of it, if we consider that lemmy is the software and federation is (as we are now seeing) an optional feature

i see, but i wanted to access my account through a third party app, it was only available while using that temporary instance test.hexbear.com, that was before federation and also before sync launch (what a coincidence!), now with sync i can use my account directly @hexbear.net. what i am looking for is still keep browsing throught the third party app, minus the federation
